Grade 5 - December 21 /2017

This week, students mastered creating triangles, built bridges from recycled material, designed bridges on Tinkercad and using the 3D printer, printed the bridges, participated in the holiday concert, wrote in their gratitude journals each day and presented their passions for the Genius Hour projects! What a fantastic last week of school.

Have a fabulous holiday, a wonderful new year and we look forward to seeing you on January 9th.

During the school day, students in Grades 1 - 5 are outside for recess three times a day and at the end of the day for pick up/aftercare. To fully enjoy the excitement that the winter season brings, appropriate winter clothing will enhance their outdoor experience. Grade 4 and 5 students are expected to make good choices in the clothing they wear outside for recess. Once outside, they are not permitted to go back inside to get pieces of clothing that they forgot to put on. We encourage them to be responsible for their choices.
