Twelve Middle School girls and two Senior School mentors participated in the Hackergal Hackathon at The York School. The objective of the event is to raise girls’ awareness of computer science. Our students created projects in Python to tell interactive stories about the environment. The  projects were judged by a panel of three York teachers and one York alumnus. To combat a sea of grey, black and white hoodies, we made a commitment this year for everyone to purchase a mandatory school house t-shirt. All past baseball house shirts are also welcome.

Please order your child’s house t-shirt prior to the deadline which is our first house meeting of the new year on January 15th. It will be an expectation from that day forward that you wear your school sanctioned house shirt on all HOUSE SWAG Casual Days. Feel free to wear any other house coloured accessories to show your spirit.

It is our goal to walk into the gym on January 15th and only see our 4 house colours.

Go to Top Marks log in page at www.topmarks.ca and where it says, enter school password here in the red rectangle, enter YOR01.  You will then be able to see the online catalog.
