Middle School - March 2 / 2018

In this year's Middle School Play, Appropriate Audience Behaviour, the audience takes the spotlight as everyone from a cough-drop obsessive to a crazed football fan steal the show from the unseen Shakespearean masterpiece, Hamlet. An outrageously meta comedy that reminds us where the drama belongs--onstage.

Shows are Tuesday, March 6 & Wednesday, March 7 @ 7:00pm.

Tickets can be reserved online at yorkschool.com/msplay2018.

We hope to see you all there, but pleeeeease leave your cough drops and horns at home!

RSVP by February 23rd.

Congratulations to our U12 Boys Basketball - Team A, on winning the CISAA Championships last weekend at UCC.  They played incredibly well all season, and were victorious!  Way to go, Gladiators!  We are all so proud of you!  #goglads

On Saturday, February 24th, Five student leaders (Grade 8-10) attended the Thrive Leaders Conference at Toronto Montessori School. The conference included a number of sessions that introduced us to new practical leadership strategies & tools. In our workshops, we learned new ways to increase school spirit, we also learned ways to empathize with our peers to find the best solution for everyone. After lunch we brainstormed new ideas to increase student engagement and York School spirit. Each of us learned valuable skills during this conference and it was a great experience getting to know student leaders from other schools. We hope to use the newly acquired skills to implement fun & exciting ideas at The York School.
