Middle School - October 13 / 2017

Student-Centred Interviews - November 15th and 16th
At The York School, we value the importance of developing greater independence and responsibility, among many other attributes in our students. This year we will be holding student-centred interviews on November 15th and 16th – save the date. We are asking parents to bring their child with them to the interviews. This format will hopefully offer open discussion about student learning progress and ensure all stakeholders are on the same page. The interview slots will be 7 minutes in length. Online booking for interview time slots will open on November 1, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. on YorkNet.

Reminders about drop-off and our neighbours
Now that our entrance is at the south-east corner of the building, we ask parents not to drop students off on Farnham Avenue. We continue to receive reports that parents are pulling into the no-stopping area on the north side of Farnham. We remind parents that they are not to stop in this area, in the lane way behind the condominiums, or on Yonge street in front of the school entrance. Please enter the lane south of the building and drop them off where we have staff to welcome students.
