WINTER UNIFORM - Thursday, October 4, 2018

Winter Uniform to Commence the Thursday before Thanksgiving Break - Correction from last week.

Photo Day this year is scheduled for Thursday, October 4th, so we will have to have everyone in winter uniform for that day, not Tuesday, October 9th. Please remind your child to bring both tie and jacket for the photo - called first dress.

We are supporting students to hold pride in wearing their uniform in a number of ways:

  1. All staff have committed to reminding students of their responsibility with respect to the uniform,

  2. Where a student does not have the proper uniform item they will be sent to the Middle School office to borrow a replacement part (i.e. tie), which they must return by day’s end

  3. Where a student returns to school the day following their borrowing an item and they have forgotten the item again, they will be sent to the Middle School office again to borrow a replacement and parent’s notified.

  4. Where a student is wearing a non-uniform piece of clothing (e.g, baseball cap, hoodie) they will be asked to put it in their locker and they may have the item confiscated for the day (or longer if repeated)
