Grade 7 Pinewood Derby

On Monday, December 10th we will be holding our 7th annual Grade 7 Pinewood Derby.

Please save the date as you won't want to miss this great event. Each year the Grade 7's student culminate their design unit with this morning long competition.

Over the past several weeks your sons and daughters have been busy designing, cutting, sanding, painting and testing (some children even asked if they could put their derby cars through a windtunnel to test aerodynamics) their Pinewood Derby cars so they might be ready for the December 10th race day.

The event will run from 9:00 am to 11:30 am in the gymnasium so if you have the opportunity to book it off and join us we would love to have you.

Here is a video from two years ago to give you a sense of why you won't want to miss it - NOTE: No stunt goldfish were harmed in the making of this video.
