Each summer we ask that each students bring their laptops in to our IT department for a yearly tune up. This important check-up allows our IT team to update each laptop with the latest software, antivirus and security patches.  In order to make this process more convenient for families we will be collecting the grade 7 and 8 student laptops on June 13th, right after the exam return morning. We will spend the following the week updating all the machines and will email the families as soon as they are ready. This new step will  elevate the summer pick-up and drop off coordination and ensure that students are well prepared for the next year. Students who have already dropped off their laptop during challenge week are now updated, and are not required to turn in their laptops on June 13th.

Students who are NOT returning next year must also drop off their laptops so IT can remove the York School software. This is the agreement made when you purchased the laptop.

Middle & Senior School Exchange Day is June 13th from 12 pm - 4 pm - MS and SS Exam Return Day. The students will be able to bring in any textbooks they would like to consign. For more information regarding the program, parents are encouraged to contact the Canadian School Book Exchange 1-800-335-5043.

Report cards will be made available during the last week of June through our digital platform, YorkNet.  An email will be sent alerting you to its availability for download. For this final report, the school will issue a paper copy via Canada Post.  In this mailing, students who have met exemplary academic achievements will receive a certificate. Academic achievements are defined as follows:

-Honor Roll (79.5%-84.4%)

-Principal’s list (84.5%-89.4%)

-Head’s List (89.5% and higher)
