SK - May 25 /2018

The SKs enjoyed writing about their long weekend adventures in their journals. They are continuing to inquire about bugs and insects, and looked at books and watched videos to discover the characteristics of spiders, worms and bees. We also looked at life cycles and made bug crafts.

In Math, we are continuing to investigate measurement. We are looking forward to working with money and time in the next few weeks.

This week in Art, the SKs began their ‘Bug’s Life’ art piece. They created their chosen bug using Model Magic and created a background on their wood panel.

In French, the students were filmed performing their play, Boucles d’or et les trois ours. The video will be available in next week’s edition of the Flash.

In Music, the SKs continued learning about insects while practicing the songs, The Nasty Spider and The Caterpillar.
