SERVICE AS ACTION WEEK
Thank you to all who contributed to our campaign for Campfire Circle. With the generosity of our community, we raised $5720.95, surpassing our goal of sending a child with cancer or severe illness to camp for 2 weeks this summer! Additional funds will go toward supporting Campfire Circle’s in-hospital programs throughout the year.
Additionally, at the Middle and Senior school, students and staff created lanyards, charms and friendship bracelets that will be given to campers this summer to celebrate the milestones and challenges that Campfire Circle campers will experience while at camp.
TERRY FOX ORDERS - DUE JUNE 30
In September, The York School will be participating in our national awareness and fundraising campaign for the Terry Fox Foundation.
Often our students and families wish to support this initiative by wearing a T Shirt that is designed by the Terry Fox Foundation and whose proceeds go directly back into supporting cancer research.
We will be placing an order with the Terry Fox foundation for T shirts.
Junior School Families (entering JK-Grade 5 in September 2024): Please use this form if you are interested in ordering a Terry Fox T Shirt for your child.
Middle + Senior Families (entering Grades 6-12 in September 2024): Please use this form.
Shirts will be delivered over the summer and handed out through homeroom classes in September.
Questions? Please contact Sarah Charley, Junior School Director of Student Life & Belonging at scharley@yorkschool.com or Erin Porter, Middle/Senior School Director of Student Life & Belonging at eporter@yorkschool.com.
