Congratulations to the JS students in grades 1 - 4 for their Learning Celebration yesterday!
Wonderful to welcome new parents and students to York last night at the Middle/Senior School and tonight at the Junior School.
New Family Handbook for 2024/2025 was sent out this week - it is a comprehensive resource with important dates for uniforms, textbooks and so much more to help set your child up for success next September.

2nd Tuition Installment - Due Friday May 31, 2024
The 2nd Tuition payment for the 2024-2025 school year is due by Friday, May 31, 2024.
JK - Grade 12 $20,350.00
These payments only apply to those not on the monthly installment plan.
Payment options include:
Online Payment - Through most major banks, you are able to set up The York School as a payee to enable the payment of tuition online. Set up the “York School” as a payee and then use the last five digits of your child’s student account.
Cheque - The School prefers to receive your payments electronically, however, if you choose to pay by cheque, cheques may be dropped off at Middle/Senior School reception at 1320 Yonge Street.
Credit Card - Credit card payments through Plastiq can be made with most major credit cards. Go to https://request.plastiq.com/pay-the-york-school and register. Please note that payments may take 3-5 business days to process and that a service fee of 2.9% will be applied.
David Hamilton Farewell Book
We invite you to join us in creating a heartfelt and memorable retirement memory book for David Hamilton.
This book will serve as a tribute to his career, achievements, and the lasting impact David has had. Please add your contributions by May 10.
Athletics
Our super OFSAA badminton athlete Georgia Baldwin is 1-1 on the day so far and we are sending her positive vibes as she continues to represent York in Barrie, Ontario.
Our U14 Softball and U14 Badminton teams are off to great starts in league play and we are only weeks away from CISAA Playoffs.
Final call, for TYS Blue Jays Community Day. This will be the last week to sign up for tickets.

The York School Parents’ Association (YPA) is looking for volunteers to fill the Class Parent and specialized committee positions for the upcoming year. Becoming a YPA volunteer is a great way to connect with other parents and participate in activities that contribute to building our wonderful York School community.
