The York School’s new Strategic Plan Embrace Curiosity charts the course for our school’s next chapter. The Plan has been years in the making and was developed through consultation and deep discussions with our school’s key stakeholders – students, parents, teachers and staff, volunteers, alumni and York’s Board of Directors.

ATHLETICS
It is Conference of Independent Schools Athletic Association (CISAA) championship/festival week. We have teams travelling all over the GTA to participate in final events and playoffs. Our Varsity and JV X-Country teams traveled to Lakefield College School to participate in the CISAA championships. Great showings with multiple top 20 finishes and this team is poised for future success as well. Our U10-U14 teams will also participate in the CISAA X-Country Championships on October 30, 2023.
Two of our teams are looking forward to hosting CISAA Championships on November 2 and November 3, 2023. Our JV Boys Volleyball team and Varsity Girls Basketball teams are undefeated and look for continued playoff success.
Sport continues to be a tool to bring our community together! TYS Athletics is bringing back one of its classic events, “Raptors Night”. We want to bring TYS to Scotiabank to enjoy a game versus the Houston Rockets (Fred Van Vleet returns to Toronto) or the Philadelphia 76ers.
