The York School, in partnership with Toronto French School, will host an online author talk with Jeff Selingo. Jeff has written about higher education for more than two decades and is a New York Times bestselling author of three books. His latest book, Who Gets In & Why: A Year Inside College Admissions, was published in September 2020 and was named among the 100 Notable Books of the year by the New York Times. Jeff will dispel the entrenched notions of how to compete and win at the admissions game and reveal why families have much to gain by broadening their notion of what qualifies as a "good" college.

Join leading academics for our virtual SSEES taster session series covering topics such as "What went wrong in Eastern Europe?" and "Representations of Russian Rulers". Prospective students, parents/carers and teachers are all welcome. SSEES offer undergraduate degrees that combine core disciplines (Economics and Business; Politics and Sociology; Languages and Culture; History) with a regional focus on Russia, The Baltics, Central, Eastern and South Eastern Europe.
