It is a unique 4-year program, developed with three prestigious partner universities: USC University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business in Los Angeles, HKUST the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and Bocconi University in Milan. Schulich Leader Scholarships are Canada’s most coveted undergraduate STEM scholarships. One hundred are awarded to entrepreneurial-minded high school graduates enrolling in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math program at 20 partner universities across Canada. Half are valued at $120,000 for engineering scholarships and half are valued at $100,000* for science and math scholarships. Canadian universities are posting dates for Open Houses. Please check this live document and plan to visit an open house or book a campus tour. Open houses allow you to learn about specific programs, talk to current students and perhaps even have a meal on campus. Campus tours run regularly throughout the year at most universities. University of Waterloo and Wilfrid Laurier University this Saturday!


November 10, 2024: Annual King’s Lecture Tour
The annual King’s Lecture Tour is scheduled for Sunday, November 10 from 10:00pm – 12:00pm E.T. We will be at the Arts & Letters Club in downtown Toronto. Students and their supporters will have a chance to learn more about our academic offerings, meet some King’s faculty, and get all their questions about university answered! Students can register on this webpage.

November 17, 2024: Journalism Day
The following weekend, King’s will be hosting the first ever Journalism Day in downtown Toronto! On Sunday, November 17, students who are interested in journalism can come and meet with King’s School of Journalism faculty, learn some new skills about audio and video journalism, and discuss Canada’s media landscape. Students can register on our website.


November 16, 2024: FuturENG
FuturENG at Toronto Metropolitan University welcomes highly motivated and talented female students in Grades 9 and 12 to discover engineering at the university level.

Funded by Hydro One through the WEMADEIT, program, this program combines theory with practical experience in cutting-edge technologies.

Students will participate in a series of workshops and hands-on activities that foster problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. The event allows students to better understand life as an engineer, with a focus on the global and societal impacts of the profession. Students will also have the opportunity to meet industry professionals, engineering mentors, and students across the Greater Toronto Area, building a network of like-minded women in STEM. No prior engineering experience is required in order to participate, this event is designed for students who are looking to explore engineering, as well as those who are looking to learn more.
