University
Visits Week of October 2nd to October 5th

Here is a list of the upcoming University visits:

Every Faculty of Arts & Science student at the St. George campus belongs to a college – a friendly and supportive community of students and scholars. The college system dates back to U of T’s earliest days and is at the heart of the Arts & Science experience. Students can indicate their college preferences when they apply and many are unsure about which colleges to select. To help applicants better understand the college system, the Faculty has developed a self-guided virtual tour of each of the seven colleges, where you can explore their unique spaces, histories, cultures and traditions, as well as the helpful services they offer. Gap Year Opportunity: A global gap year experience where students will have a chance to live in 7 different countries (US, UK, Brazil, Kenya, Middle East, India, and China) over the course of 7 months while engaging in a myriad of academically and personally enriching experiences. The first cohort of students will embark on this global journey in Sept. 2024. For more information click HERE.

Canadian universities are posting dates for Open Houses. Please check this live document and plan to visit an open house or book a campus tour. Open houses allow you to learn about specific programs, talk to current students and perhaps even have a meal on campus. Campus tours are running regularly at most universities.

Shad programs give Grade 10 and 11 students a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to grow their mindset, collaborate in a university classroom with youth across the country (and internationally!!), and build community change maker capabilities using #STEAM4Good to make an impact! Spend the month of July exploring the world of STEAM and entrepreneurship through exciting lectures, experiential workshops, team-building activities, and a design project that inspires students to tackle real-world problems.
