STUDENT LIFE & BELONGING
INTERNATIONAL DAY OF PINK & RAINBOW PRIDE
We have enjoyed a week full of colourful self-expression, prideful celebration, and effective forms of allyship and action in support of 2SLGBTQ+ identities. We created a school wide rainbow pride art installation where students decorated hearts with ripped paper art expressing love and inclusion and how each of us has different pieces or qualities that make us all unique and special. We learned about having the courage to be yourself. Be Bold! Be Proud! Choose Kindness! And to be an ally!
