UPCOMING CASUAL DAYS
COZY OR HOLIDAY SWEATER & ACCESSORIES DAY Tuesday, December 19
On Tuesday, dress up in a comfy snuggly sweater or a fun holiday themed sweater. You could also add a holiday necklace, scarf or headband. Find an outfit that makes you feel warm and festive.
JUNIOR SCHOOL CASUAL DAY on Thursday, December 21
On Thursday, choose any outfit that makes you happy to celebrate the last day of classes!
WINTER CO-CURRICULARS & CLUBS
Winter Co-curriculars & Clubs will end on Tuesday, December 19 and will continue on your return to school on Monday, January 8. There will only be Before Care on the last two days of the term.
No clubs/teams or After Care will be provided on Wednesday, December 20 and Thursday, December 21. All students will be dismissed at 3:15pm.
Make up classes for all 3rd party provider clubs missed in this last week of classes will be offered on Wednesday, February 28 and Thursday, February 29.
WINTER CLOTHING DRIVE
New Circles Winter Clothing Drive continues for one more day! Please support your house and donate gently used coats, boots, sweaters, pants, snowsuits, hats, scarves, mittens and gloves of all sizes by tomorrow Friday, December 15.
GREAT CANADIAN OUTDOOR DAY - Friday, February 2
On Friday, February 2, all of our Junior School students will take part in our annual Great Canadian Outdoor Day. Our Grades JK-Gr 2 students will be skating at Mattamy Athletic Centre (Formerly Maple Leaf Gardens) in Toronto and Grades 3-5 are cross-country skiing at Horseshoe Resort in Barrie. A reminder for parents to sign into their YorkNet account to review and submit the online Venturing Out (VO) Form for their child by Friday, December 15. Grade 3-5 parents, please also complete and submit this Horseshoe Valley Waiver Form to your child's homeroom teacher by Friday, December 15.
