Junior School - DECEMBER 21, 2023

Principal’s message

Dear Junior School Parents,

As I reflect on my first term at The York School, I am so proud of everybody’s learning and growth. Despite the heart-wrenching world news taking the spotlight, the resilience and hopefulness exhibited by our students truly make our community exceptional. Together, students and staff have collaboratively worked to ensure that our school remains an inclusive learning environment for everyone.

In the midst of this season, my wish for you and your children is to rediscover the deep and lasting values that bind us together. May you continue to fan the flame of hope, embracing curiosity, fostering community, and confronting challenges. These elements form the essence of our community and will guide us into the new year with a sense of purpose and shared commitment.

Here is the picture of the winner of our Winter Wonder Draw, Ms. Rebecca Philp and the SK class. Congratulations!!

Wishing all our Junior School families a winter break filled not only with health and safety but also with joy and unforgettable moments, as we look forward to the promising adventures that lie ahead.

Regards,

Sara Sankari
Junior School Principal

UPCOMING EVENTS

With the snowy weather approaching, it is a good idea to send your child to school with a second set of clothes. They can keep this at school in the case that they find themselves with wet socks or pants after recess play.
