WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
JS Photo Retake, Clubs and Teams: On Wednesday, January 22, the photographer from CanGrad will be here to take Club and Team Group photos. This is also an opportunity for students who were away on Photo day in October to have their picture taken. If you have any questions about your students' photos or would like to place an order please contact CanGrad Studios.
January 27: PD Day, no classes for all students.
Winter Clothing Reminder: We’ve noticed some students (mostly Grades 4&5) requesting to call home for a change of clothes after recess due to wet clothing. To avoid this, we kindly ask that students come prepared with snow pants or keep a spare change of clothes in their cubby. Please note that we will not be calling home for clothing changes.
(All Students): Students must wear appropriate winter clothing (e.g., jacket, hat, mittens) when heading out to the playground. If students choose to remove layers during play, that is a personal choice.
Snow Pants (K-3): Snow pants are mandatory for students in Grades K-3 whenever there is snow on the ground or when the temperature is below 0°C.
Snow Pants (Grades 4-5): Wearing snow pants will be a personal choice for students in Grades 4-5. However, students should be aware that if they choose not to wear snow pants, they will need to manage the consequences of being wet and cold for the remainder of the day.
Students are not allowed to wear UGGS boots or slippers in school. These are allowed out on the playground as outdoor shoes but are not considered indoor shoes.
