STUDENT LIFE & BELONGING

YORK SCARES HUNGER FOOD DRIVE

We are thrilled to announce the success of our annual York Scares Hunger Food Drive for the Daily Bread Food Bank. The Junior School collected 989 food items surpassing our goal of 500 items. This was a house challenge and the house with the most donations with 373 was the FIRE HOUSE. The AIR HOUSE rallied at the end to come second with 225 food items.

Overall, The York School community donated 1,1834 items and we raised $1734.50 on our donation page to purchase fresh produce, eggs, bread, meat and milk.

Thank you for your generosity and for joining the fight to end hunger in our communities. We will continue to live our Community Service motto, ‘Take a Stand, Lend a Hand’ as we come together to launch our next school wide service campaign in December.
