    • 8:30am - 9:30am: In person in the library, for RSVP please email Diala Helou at dhelou@yorkschool.com

    • 7:00pm - 8:00pm: Virtually (link will be provided at a later date), no need to RSVP

  • Meet the Teacher was our rebranded curriculum night. This night offered the same programming, we moved it to an earlier date to give parents the opportunity to meet the community sooner.

  • Drop off/Pick-up reminders: If you are using the drive through option to drop off or pick up your child(ren), please don’t leave the car. A staff member will be there to help you. This option is the faster, stay in your car, option. If you would like to leave the car, please use the Yonge street door instead.

  • Sign in at Reception: If you are walking into the building past reception, please always sign in and get your sticker on. We need all visitors to have stickers on for safety and security purposes.

  • Lice: We will have our first lice check up on Monday, September 23, 2024. The Junior School will have two lice check ups during the year. It is good practice to generally check your child(ren)’s hair on a regular basis. JS students interact and play closely together throughout the day. Please always let the school know if your child has lice. We will always keep it anonymous, but alerting other parents in the grade level will help us limit the spreading.

  • Fire Drill - Tuesday, September 17, 2024

    • As part of the school’s safety plan, we have regular fire and lock down drills.

    • The first fire drill will be on Tuesday, September 17

    • If you anticipate your child may need additional support during our upcoming fire drills, please reach out to your child’s homeroom teacher.

  • Student-Centered Conferences (in-person) Thursday, October 24 & Friday, October 25 - Students will be dismissed at 11:45am on Thursday and will not have any classes on Friday. These are conferences that will focus on learning goals and will include students, parents and teachers. Students are expected to attend these conferences. JK & SK students will not be attending. This will be for parents of JK & SK students only. There will be no aftercare provision on both days.
