Wednesday, April 23, 2025, 3:45pm - 5:00pm - Reach Ahead Math Placement Test(Optional)
Current Grade 7 students who are interested in the Grade 8 Reach Ahead math course for 2025-2026 can write the placement test on April 23 from 3:45pm - 5:00pm.This placement test requires NO prior preparation.
Thursday, April 24, 2025 - Grade 7 Lunch Out (Optional)
Homeroom teachers will review the boundaries and rules with students.
Grade 8’s will continue to have an optional lunch every Friday.
Thursday, April 24, 7:00pm - 8:30pm - Middle School Arts Night - Save the date
Doors will open at 6:30pm to allow families, friends and staff to view the artwork prior to the music which starts at 7:00pm.
Friday, April 25, 11:40am - 12:40pm - YPA Treats for Middle School: Ice Cream Truck
Students will have a choice of ice cream or popsicle. The school will organize details of the timing of the truck visit. This will be communicated in the homeroom class.
Wednesday, April 30, 3:45pm - 6:45pm - The Burkett Bowl Debate Tournament
This fun Senior school student lead tournament will held in the Middle School for students who are signed up for debate club.

Student Vote - Federal Edition
Our Grade 11 CAS students are once again taking up the mantle to engage our community in civic duties.
Next week, students in Grades 8-12 will have the opportunity to cast their ballot for the next federal leader having heard some of the platforms of the current candidates in Homeroom, ICE classes and through the Advisor program.
Student polling stations will be available at during Period 1 for Grade 8s and at lunch in the cafeteria for seniors.
YPA Spring Treat Days! - April 24 and 25
Students and staff are looking forward to warmer days ahead and to celebrate, our YPA has sponsored an ice cream truck to visit the Senior School students on April 24 at lunch and the Middle School students on April 25 at recess/lunch.
