Community Service Hours Requirement - Grades 8-11
As summer approaches, we recognize that some of our students will want to spend some of their summertime working on the 40 hours of service learning that are required in order to graduate.
Please note that students should check with their advisor and/or the attached document before beginning a volunteer placement to ensure it is considered an eligible experience.
In our Family Handbook, as well as on the attached document, students and parents can review the requirements for service placements as well as learn how to log completed hours in Managebac (York’s tracking platform) and discover what opportunities are available at York throughout the year.
