Student Life and Belonging

Co-Curricular Clubs and Student Leadership Committees

Our Co-Curricular Clubs programme officially begins the week of September 23. Students had the opportunity to visit any clubs they were interested in on Thursday and there is a slide deck promoting all of the options that students can review as they are making their choices.

Middle School Co-Curricular Schedule

Senior School Co-Curricular Schedule

Our Student Leadership programme has begun with student leaders meeting with their committees and faculty advisors. Any students who are New to York, i.e. did not apply for leadership in the Spring, can review the committees that are accepting new students and complete an application now. Students have been emailed the list of available positions and should discuss their interests with their Advisor or Ms Porter to ensure they are creating a balanced schedule for the year!

Questions? Please contact Erin Porter, Director, Student Life & Belonging at eporter@yorkschool.com.

York is getting a NEW Mascot

At our opening assembly, students and staff heard from our newly appointed Athletics Reps that The York School mascot is being rebranded! We are welcoming all members of our community to submit their ideas for our new mascot - one that promotes the pride and spirit that we all have in our school.

Submissions can be made digitally using this google form or hand drawn and placed in the box in the MS commons/outside the Student Life & Belonging office.

All ideas will be collected until November 30th and then a community vote will take place in the new year!

We look forward to seeing what our creative community comes up with!

Questions? Please contact Rick DeMarinis, Director, Athletics at rdemarinis@yorkschool.com.
